Remarks & Notes
Back From the Dead … Again! I was out to catch Amtrak’s "Pepsi Can" engine on a very late Amtrak train 3, but even more rare was the next train: Metrolink 91/Perris Valley Line train 712 led by retired F59PH 868. This is at least the third time that this locomotive has been returned to service since retirement, the previous time being for use on a work train and, following that, filling in for an ailing F125. This train originated in Los Angeles and is heading for downtown Riverside as the sun sets at Atwood. (Placentia, California – July 28, 2021)

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
