Running West Olive St.: It's a tight fit. On a cloudy, misty morning, Santa Maria Valley Locomotive #205 steam cleans the resident's parked vehicles as she slowly makes her way down West Olive St. with a local job, in sleepy Lebanon, OR. Needless to say, this type of operation is rare enough and dangerous enough, that it is performed with the utmost of care and caution. Although it is not quite as tight as it looks from this angle, I would definitely not want to be a westbound motorist this morning. Fortunately, the scene you see here was very well-controlled. The street was officially closed by the town and all of the residents were thoroughly briefed on the plan well in advance, thanks to excellent planning and execution by Lerro Photography, the Albany & Eastern Railroad and the City of Lebanon, OR.
