Remarks & Notes |
The Vicksburg Turn local rolls across the 1917 built stone arch bridge over the Big Black River. This bridge is located at MP 127.8 on the KCS Meridian Sub. This job is carrying a whopping 114 cars, over 13,ooo tons, back to Jackson from the Vicksburg from the Vicksburg Sothern Railroad (VSOR). These EMD's are howling in dynos as the train has dropped down the past 4 miles on a .7% grade to the river. |
