Remarks & Notes |
The 4-2-0 steamlocomotive D 1/3 # 1 "Limmat" was built in 1947 by SLM and the industrial work of the SBB in Zürich, for the 100 year celebrations of railway in Switzerland. Some parts like the large driving axle and some fittings were used of the locomotice Eb 2/4 # 15 "Speiser" of the Schweizerische Centralbahn of 1857. The original "Limmat" was built in 1847 by Emil Kessler in Kalrsruhe/Germany for the Schweizerische Nordbahn (SNB) from Baden to Zürich. The locomotive pulled trains this weekend between Koblenz and Laufenbrug to celebrate 175 years railways in Switzerland. Engineers are Stefan Landenberger and Fabian Sollberger. |
