W o r l d r e c o r d a t t e m p t of the Rhaetian Railway on the Albula line between Preda and Alvaneu. The spectators of this large event travelled from Chur to Filisur, Bergün and Preda in several extra trains. The "Capricorn" ABe 4/16 # 3111 "Piz Ela", first of the series, had a coupler problem in Chur and was running to Preda as extra train, instead of coupled with # 3118 and # 3112. Above the train, you can see white tents, which served for the VIP guests (right) or for the about other 3000 spectators (left).
