A plethora of vintage and modern equipment sits outside of the Jackson and Lansing's (Adrian and Blissfield) Mason Shops in Mason, Michigan. Along with at least two of the ADBF's classic GP9's sits a former Central Vermont Caboose and the railroad's classic business car, still showing the vandalism that took place earlier in the year.
The star of the show however is newly painted ADBF #822, a former DT&I GP40 that is outside for the very FIRST time after being repainted into the new ADBF "Billboard" livery. The new owners of the Adrian and Blissfield (and its affiliated railroads) have been slowly rebranding the railroad to reflect the change in ownership. Track work, new equipment and a new image are just some of the things being brought to a company once known for "the bottom dollar", versus customer service among other things.
