Manifest train 118 heads south past the Amtrak depot in downtown High Point, NC in the pouring rain on a dark and chilly Thursday, December 22, 2022 morning. On the far track, local train P80 heads north as it returns to Pomona Yard in Greensboro. Originally built in 1907 by the Southern Railway, the station building was renovated almost 100 years later, and now serves ten Amtrak trains per day.
