NYNJ Rail SE10B locomotives 5101 and 5103 are seen sitting in the middle of 1st Avenue in Brooklyn, waiting to pick up 12 R32 subway cars heading to scrap. Note the coupler adapter on the front of the locomotive, converting from the Janney knuckle coupler used by NYNJ Rail (and freight railroads throughout the United States) and the Westinghouse H2C coupler used on the R32 subway cars. |
