| Central Warehouse.
Amtrak P32AC-DM locomotives 710 & 715 (GE Genesis, 1992-2001) are seen leading Train 284(9) past the Central Warehouse in Albany, NY as the train approaches the bridge over the Hudson River. The two locomotives and extra train length not visible here were due to a mechanical issue that caused Trains 280 and 284 to be combined for the trip to Penn Station/Moynihan Train Hall.
The warehouse has long been dormant, and has recently suffered from structural issues in which large chunks of concrete fell to the tracks below. The building's future is uncertain. |
