The D 1/3 # 1 "Limmat" (replica built in 1947, of the first built railway in Switzerland from 1847) and Ec 2/5 # 28 "Genf", oldest operational steamlocomotive of Switzerland, built in 1858 by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen/Germany for the Schweizerische Centralbahn, are pulling a train with the cars of the Spanisch-Brötli-Bahn of 1947 (1847) between Arch and Leuzingen. After the line between Solothurn and Büren an der Aare was shut down in 2003 (passenger service had ceased in 1994), the catenary was removed, making this section one of the very few in Switzerland without an overhead line.
