As part of the overhaul of Union Pacific AC4400CW-CTE No. 5687, the still good generator is removed from the old 4,400 hp 7FDL16 prime mover, which will be mated to its new engine. The work is being performed at UP’s backshop at the former Rio Grande’s Burnham Shops on December 7, 2015.
