Electrolocomotive BB # 9291 of the SNCF in the Cité du Train railway museum Mulhouse. The BB 9200 is a French electric locomotive series for use on the SNCF's 1.5 kV DC network. The locomotives were built by Creusot-Loire, Jeumont-Schneider and CEM between 1957 and 1964 in a series of 92, with 3850 kW and 160 km/h maximum velocity. The locomotives # 9291 and # 9292 were delivered in red color, special bogies and pantographs and with 250 km/h maximum velocity to pull the famous "Capitole" between Paris and Toulouse. This was the first train in Europe to run at a speed of 200 km/h as scheduled.
