Using the overhead crane, two machinists begin the careful lift of the old prime mover of Union Pacific GE AC4400CW No. 6704 at UP’s South Morrill Locomotive Facility on September 14, 2017. Unfortunately, UP closed this locomotive facility in January 2019, largely due to the decline in coal traffic in the Powder River Basin region.
