In 1982 the AAT took another big step. Given the success obtained in the service of the Historic Tramway, it was necessary to have another unit. The members of the AAT discover that using a 258 twin as a base, it was possible to obtain another replica of a Buenos Aires tram. The model to be achieved was the "Belga Angosto" of the Compañía de Tramways Anglo Argentina Ltda. Thus, another car was acquired in Porto, #252, which arrived in Buenos Aires on April 20, 1982. A series of reconstructions and exterior modifications carried out by the members of Mechanics and Maintenance of the AAT, resulted in this #652. Presented to society on 11/26/1983, up to now it had a prolific and efficient performance in our Tram Service, being the car that, without a doubt, has traveled the most in all these years.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
