| 40 Years of Service. On August 9, 2023 the unit was spotted for the railroads up coming Iron horse rambles. What started off as a small branch line from Temple, Pa to Hamburg, Pa has now grown into one of the largest short line operations. In 1983 it provided service to approximately 18 miles which has grown to 400 miles today. Happy Anniversary to the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern (aka: Reading & Northern) |
