In Furka DFB station on 2160 meter a.s.l., the steamtrain 134 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) from Oberwald to Realp is ready for departure. The cogwheel locomotive HG 3/4 # 4 of 1913 pulled the train from Gletsch instead from Oberwald, due to high wildfire risk. From Oberwald to Gletsch, the diesellocomotive HGm 4/4 # 61, rented from the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, was in charge. In the background is the diesel shunter Tm 2/2 # 506, which shoved the train through the 1874 meter long summit tunnel from Muttbach-Bélvedère. The blue cars of the train are B # 4229, ABD # 4554 and AB # 4453.
