OKLAHOMA CITY Nov 16 1981 — Katy GP7 105 is shown at Harter Yard east of city center. This facility was once operated by the Rock Island. EMD built the 105 (b/n 12063) in February 1951 and delivered it as MKT 1515. In 1960 the unit was renumbered to MKT 105. It never received a Union Pacific number and was retired on June 9 1989. Web site utahrails.net records that, “MKT 105 was sold to Wilson Railway Corp., on 19 July 1989; resold to Seagraves, Whiteface & Lubbock 105.” That line sold the 105 to Wilson Rail. My photo.
