Fall on Otis Hill. A sunny Sunday, and sweater weather kind of fall afternoon finds us in the backwoods of Northern Indiana photographing as many trains as we could with fall colors around Otis, IN, where the start of fall peak 2023 is underway all along Otis Hill. Otis Hill Is a great place for consistent train action and amazing fall colors. One of the trains i photographed that afternoon was Norfolk Southern train B10 from Elkhart, IN to Burns Harbor, IN. This train had a pair of SD70M-2 locomotives leading, numbers 2662 and 2665. These engines were hard to come across for several years since they were in storage, and have only been reactivated since the summer.
