Festive Furor.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R1 car no. 100 (ACF, 1930) is the lead unit on a 9-car train of "Arnines" seen stopped at 34th St-Herald Square Station on the IND 6th Avenue Line. The train is the NY Transit Museum's annual Holiday Train, which for 2023 is running from 145th St Station (A/B/C/D) to 2nd Avenue Station (F) via the 6th Avenue express tracks every Saturday in December. The train is a very busy, festive experience, filled with excitement every time the train pulls into a station and the doors open!
