| The new ancestor train (Ahnenzug) of the Rhaetian Railway, "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3514 pulls the Regio Express 1625 of the line RE9 from St.Moritz to Tirano through the curve above the upper Ova da Bernina bridge in a grade of 7.0 % between Bernina Lagalb and Ospizio Bernina. First car is in the colors of the former Bernina Railway (BB), taken over by the RhB in 1943. Second car has the colors of the Rhaetian Railway at that time. Third car has the colors of the former Chur-Arosa Railway (ChA) taken over by the RhB in 1942. On the left is 3136 meter high Piz Albris and on the right Piz Alv. |
