| When night falls over the mountains, the mighty Langwies viaduct on the Chur-Arosa line of the Rhaetian Railway is subtly illuminated. The "Allegra" ancestor train ABe 8/12 # 3514 crosses the viaduct with a span of 100 meters with its push-pull train R 1453 of line R16 on the journey from Chur to Arosa. The 62-metre high and 284-metre long reinforced concrete viaduct was the largest bridge of this new type when it was built between 1912 and 1914. At the end of the push-pull train is a luggage car for transporting vacation luggage. |
