A pair of westbound BNSF Railway trains descend Cajon Pass, and one overtakes the other at CP Walker. BNSF’s California Division Christmas Train, symboled O-SBDSBD2-12A, heads downgrade after reachingCajon’ Summit, and then returning to San Bernardino, from which it originated. This is actually the second train with this symbol this day, as there was one run in the morning, and this other in the afternoon, each carrying a trainload of disadvantaged kids and their families for a few hours of fun on the Pass, with balloon animals, a clown, the Chipmunks, elves and, of course, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! This special is pulled westbound by ES44C4 3907, with ES44C4 3908 on the rear. On one of the adjacent tracks is train M-BARWAT1-12A, behind BNSF 7971, 7750, 7743, 7717 and 3924.
