CN’s Millsdale oil local, L545 breaks the nighttime silence through Downtown Lemont, as they head south past the historic 1859 built depot on their way to Millsdale. Being pulled by two veteran Grand Trunk Western GP38-2’s, 6222/4921 and only a whopping 5 cars in tow. This nighttime local serves many oil refinery’s along the Joliet Subdivision between Chicago and Joliet, and one just south of Joliet along the Chillicothe Subdivision at Millsdale.
