Remarks & Notes |
Westbound Q219 is now rolling towards Avon Yard after staging at MP 278. The train is on the east side of Indy as it rolls thru CP 280 on the Indianapolis Terminal Sub. CP 280 is where old Indianapolis Belt Line once was crossed or connected. The train is about 3 miles from the downtown Amtrak depot, and still 11 miles from the Avon Yard on the west side of Indy. In the background is the cool signals at MP 279 that are old Conrail G signals like the ones here at CP 280, but are perched high on stilts.
These signals were retired in March 2018. |
