| Ge 4/4 II # 626 "Malans" of the Rhaetian Railway is leaving the short Zalaint tunnel between Filisur and Alvaneu with the PE 903 GLACIER EXPRESS from St.Moritz to Chur. First car is Aps # 4046 of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGB) of the "Excellence Class". This day, the Glacier Express runs between St.Moritz and Chur only, because of line interruptions between Oberwald and Brig and Visp and Täsch due to heavy thunderstorms and flooded tracks. The passengers will travel from Chur via Zürich-Bern to Brig, then by a bus service to Zermatt. |
