Remarks & Notes
Heritage Heavy Rail. On Saturday, June 22, 2024, the Shore Line Trolley Museum held their annual Museum in Motion event prior to opening for the season the next day. The event included two parades that featured 21 different pieces of equipment from the museum's collection, menu of which are not typically seen on public operating days. Here we see Independent Subway System (IND) R9 "Arnine" no. 1689 (ACF, 1940) and Hudson & Manhattan J class "black car" no. 503 (ACF, 1928) heading back to the storage tracks and barns at the north end of the facility.
