On July 23rd, 2024, Amtrak MP15DC #537 was in charge of taking the Portland Extra equipment move to Boston to drop off bad-ordered Downeaster equipment. Around 4:30 in the afternoon, it crossed the Scarborough Marsh, arguably the most scenic part of the Downeaster route.
