A new look for the Nashville & Eastern-- While still rostering almost all GE units, the days of the fan favorite green and yellow are gone. All locomotives now wear RJ Corman colors, and only one has an NERR logo on the cab side (573, trailing in this photo). The second unit in this consist (8531) was the last to wear the classic NERR paint scheme.
Train NE03 is returning to Lebanon, TN from Nashville, passing a rural scene just east of Mt. Juliet. How long this split fence scene will be able to hold off urban sprawl from burgeoning Nashville is up for question.
