Due to a line closure between Feldkirch and Buchs SG for construction work from August 10 to September 8, 2024, various trains between Austria and Switzerland will be rerouted from Feldkirch via Wolfurt-St.Margrethen-Romanshorn VL-Winterthur to Zurich. As there is no hairpin bend, the train will be pulled to Zurich by an ÖBB locomotive. Siemens "Taurus" locomotive 1116 # 201 pulls the NightJet NJ 466 from Vienna to Zürich, from Feldkirch via Wolfurt-St.Margrethen-Romanshorn VL-Frauenfeld-Winterthur, between Winterthur and Winterthur Tössmühle, with cars from Budapest and Prague in the rear.
