Earlier today, CN M338 had a gaggle of locomotives entering the yard in Dubuque, IA, but a number of issues came up that prevented the crew from using one of them as the new leader of the train. Therefore, CN made the decision to press EJE 676, a former EJ&E SD38-2 no wearing CN colors, into service at the head end - an extraordinarily rare sight on the former IC Iowa Division! Here, the old standard cab does its best lugging the train east by the former Illinois Central depot in Genoa, IL. Put this in the file of things unlikely to ever happen again.
