Built in June 1964 as Terminal Railroad Association 1229, this EMD SW1200 later became Lange-Stegmann Company 1229, then Foster Townsend Rail Logistics 1229, before being sent south to Gulf Coast Railway Service 1229. GCRS 1229 is now back in southern Illinois, near where it was first operated for the TRRA, now switching cars at Mighty River Recycling, along the Mississippi River near Alton Steel Incorporated.
