This Santa Fe GP30 lasted almost 5 years into the merger with the original number and lettering. In March 2000, the old girl would turn into the BNSF 2402. Nowadays, the 2705 runs around as the BNSF 2550. The unit was rebuilt in Albia in 2016 as a GP39-3, losing the distinctive GP30 cab but keeping the car body.
