The 470 Club Special is seen heading West at Cook's Crossing in Bartlett on the former Maine Central Mountain Subdivision, now operated by Conway Scenic Railroad. The 470 Club owns the trio of authentic B&M power, all have been recently restored. The 1741 was finished just weeks before the trip.
Beautiful mountain scenery has made this small state a draw for rail buffs to ride the Mount Washington Cog Railway and the Conway Scenic, among others.
