A constant parade of short-distance passenger trains (Amtrak's Pacific Surfliners and Metrolink's commuter trains) passing through Fullerton, California, is broken up by only one pair of long-distance trains - the two daily Amtrak Southwest Chiefs running between Los Angeles and Chicago. As the sun sets on this Friday, Amtrak train 4, the eastbound Chief, with AMTK P42DCs 175 and 195 for power, arrives to load passengers for points east. (Fullerton, California - August 30, 2013)
