Amtrak Empire Service Train 237 Grand Central to Albany-Rensselaer after passing through the rock cut at Spuyten Duyvil. Another Summer of Amtrak terminating in Grand Central Terminal instead of Penn Station. Amtrak's Spuyten Duyvil Bridge is open and undergoing repairs. Repairs were made to electrical and mechanical components due to damage from Hurricane Sandy and years of corrosion and breakdowns. To the right is Spuyten Duyvil Creek and Columbia University Baker Athletics Complex.
