| Mounded over and fully loaded, 120 coal hoppers move through the woods under the power of three CSX engines. Captured through my Nikon lens is the DPU of this train. The 2 mismatched number boards show just above the hoppers around mid-train indicating its location. It sort of looks like it's hiding... Placing power throughout the train is a common and efficient operation that many railroads use. |
