Remarks & Notes
This 0-8-0, number 5, was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Indianapolis Union Railway. It had a total engine and tender weight of 376,800 lbs., and a tractive force of 51,040 lbs. It was built in Eddystone, Pennsylvania, where my great, great Uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., worked as a design engineer at Baldwin. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo card is from the John R. Doughty collection.
