Union Pacific GP38-2 323 was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division as Missouri Pacific 914 in October 1972. MoPac later renumbered it to MP 2065. It was eventually sold to Helm Financial Corporation, where it became HLCX 2065. Helm eventually sold it to Union Pacific (to whom it would have ended up if the MP hadn't unloaded it before the merger of the two railroads), becoming UP 1823. UP later renumbered this Geep to UP 323, as seen here. (Anaheim, California - July 8, 2005)
