Old Haven and New Haven.
Heritage unit service on Metro-North's Hudson Line on Sunday, March 2, 2025 mainly consisted of P32AC-DM locomotives 222, 229, and 230, all sporting New Haven Railroad paint schemes. Locomotive 222 - the newest heritage unit in the railroad's fleet - debuted two days prior in its green prewar livery. Locomotives 229 and 230 are among the oldest heritage units in the railroad's fleet, painted in "McGinnis" scheme by their owner, the Connecticut Department of Transportation (the locomotives and other CDOT-owned equipment is pooled for Metro-North service). Locomotive 230 stands out from its sister units 228, 229, and 231 in that is has unofficial Penn Central "patches" added below the cab windows.
Here P32AC-DM no. 222 is seen hauling Hudson Line train 8737 around the curve at Marble Hill, Manhattan.
