The CN gave the IANR these 3 ACs a couple of days ago for the release of a 100-car-loaded soybean meal train out of Shell Rock Soy Processing at Butler. Now with the BUWA crew onboard, the train begins the process of gathering 100 cars and air testing them. The CN has most of the business from the 2 new mega bean plants that came online last year. The other plant is located on the CN side on the Cherokee Sub near Alta, IA. Both plants kick out a ton of cars each day, keeping the IANR and CN hoping. This train will interchange to the CN at Waterloo for delivery to Mound City, IL, for unloading. This was the 1 unit train off the IANR with CN power since the March 1st buyout.
