Man, to have a GP 39 and a GP 9 on a hotshot without any fuel restrictions would be the trip nowadays. Back in the early 90s it was just another day. A westbound intermodal train rolls through East Dubuque. Many, many trips to East Cabin as a kid to witness the end of the BN and the start of the BNSF. This was BN's 2nd Sub that ran from Aurora, IL, to North La Crosse, WI. Scanned slide from July 1992.
