Not sure, but this looks like a late variant of the same Turbomeca RGP's (Rame a Grande Parcours - Long Distance Trainset) that Amtrak acquired from France in the mid-1970's. The overall configuration of the power unit is similar to the Amtrak turbos (and numerous French RGP's) and the nose is obviously based on the Alsthom TGV-Reseau.

this train is working just in cairo-alexandria line not in cairo-luxor line and there just 3 trains of it in egypt
