What is a remote control platform?

Basically, its only function is to act as a remote control receiver so that any motor M.U.'d to it can be used by remote control. It has no motor, no fuel tank, the front windows are plated over, etc. Because engines are more prone to failure, terminals with these units will not lose their remote control capabilities when switch engines fail and are sent to be shopped.
