Nice shot John! We were only 20 miles from each other!

I'll take the pine tree forests over California scrub brush any time! Nice shot.
I agree with Aaron. Absolutely amazing.
Great location, John. This would be a nice spot come fall......
One of my favorites of all time. If this site had voting, this would get a 10 from me.
I agree with all of the above. You've got my vote for photo of the week! P.S. I hope that GE has a hedge trimmer mounted on the front somewhere! Looks like they might need it! :-)

Nice shot John, I saw this scene on a video and i love this place, lake superior subdivision
Yes, one sweet shot. Love how you framed the train within that S-curve swatch of pine trees PERFECTLY! Did you scope out this location ahead of time or just get lucky?
MP 80 on the CPR Heron Bay sub! visit my website @ www.trainweb.org/cprnosa for some information on the area... Its located in Neys Park.
Thanks for all the kind words people! The scouting on this pic was done by Chris Wilson - see http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=100858 . He was kind enough to share this info with me. The far end of the train is on the other side of the Little Pic River and this shot was made standing on the side of the Trans-Canada Highway!

Cool Picture! My vote for POTW!

The only time I've ever seen more red & green was last Christmas! Neat shot.

Like a snake. Truly a mountian shot. My vote for POWT!
Great shot! Looks like it would go back to nature quickly if the CP stops running trains.
