Most of the references I've seen list the Huey P. Long bridge as having a 135' vertical clearance over the river. A great shot, however, and thanks very much for sharing it.

I thought the 800 souded too high. That's what I get for trusting a State drawing. The bridge still stands after the storm. My family and I are very fortunate in that we received very little damage from Katrina. I live about 40 miles Northwest of N.O.

Nothing better to do than sit on a hot train all day? Wouldn't you rather be up North stirring up trouble there?
