Yeah, and thats kinda funny, because Jim, the engineer, told me that they pulled 46 cars with this little baby! There was a slick cover of snow and ice on the tracks to boot. He said that he would prefer this over a GP38 or an SD40 because even though it only has roughly 1500 HP, it's geared much better for switching than the 2 locomotives talked about above.

I believe these units were rebuilt at the GTW Battle Creek Engine house in the early 1980s.
