The use of a traditional switcher stack in the Green Goat is intentional. It was done so the GG20 would have the same look and feel of a diesel switcher.

I agree. What I meant was that the radio and brake valve assembly look "pre-owned".

Yup, these are rebuilt locomotives, so I'm sure the control stand really is as old as it looks

And if it is "certified pre-owned" they can charge more for it and offer an extended warranty! ;)
