Looks partially cut off, but what is that on the tracks? Almost looks like someone laying there.

It is just a pile of junk. The line actualy ends there as this is the "return trip" engine. There is another F7(A) on the other end that takes the train out. They get to the end of the line and the engineers walk down the tracks and get into this one to come back.
