A quick note: 43029 was the rear power car on the train that crashed at Ufton Nervet, Berkshire, almost 2 years to the day before this picture was snapped. The crash occurred on Nov. 6, 2004, and resulted in the tragic deaths of 6 people plus the suicidal man in the car at the crossing that caused the derailment. HST 43019 was written off in the crash.
