Call me stupid but I'm not sure if the former NWP Right of way still exists (with tracks laid out and all). Can someone tell me if the ROW is still there?

The ROW certainly exists. And the tracks have never been abandoned or torn up. But it has been a long time since anything other than a motorcar has traversed them, and Mother Nature has undoubtedly not been kind, given the history of slides and slipouts in the canyon. The trackage such as it is is owned by the North Coast Railroad Authority, a public agency, that is trying to get all or part of the former NWP running again. But without much success so far.
